ORGANIC METAL - Profile

Organic Metal was created during November and December 2000 and published on the web December 12th.

The initial purpose of the site was to house and display my personal artworks to those interested in anime, manga, comic book, and cartoon style art. These days OM has also become a place for other artists to discuss topics on the message board and contribute their own art to the MVGC event. I've even had a fair bit of interest from companies and individuals who like my stuff so much that they want to pay for it! I ain't complaining! Although OM is not a commercial site. If ya wanna talk business, please e-mail me ;)

If someone was to rip off the design or any of it's content I'd get really angry ~~and kill them~~, since the site has taken me many solid hours to build plus they'd be breaking copyright law. That includes people that want to pillage my links section - by all means link to sites you like, but don't steal every single link I've put up just for the hell of it. Cheers.

Why 'Organic Metal'? Well I wanted to use an original and creative name and something that relates to the type of work I do. It also has a deeper meaning, generally things made from metal are in-organic. "Organic Metal" is something different, something new - like my work and web site... or at least that's how I'd hope to see it!

In the future I'd like to see big things for OM. Expect more art, more tips and tutorials, higher quality results, new ideas, more interactivity and more fun! And thanks to everyone who's visited and supported the site so far, which generated over 50,000 hits after it's 2nd anniversary :)

There might be differences with some versions of Netscape. Text size might need to be set at "Medium" for best viewing. OM requires Java support. Some image links (eg. navigation icons) are roll-over images (they change when the mouse is placed on top of them). There is a 100kb, 9 second music wav loop on the "Enter" and Contents pages. Some images require your mouse cursor to be over them to view descriptions (eg. links section).
