I
get a lot of requests for commissioned and freelance work, so here's
some info on how to commission me.
Cost depends on exactly what you want, how long it'll take me to
complete and what it'll be used for... although I'd be more than
happy if you want to make an offer to start with! I've been producing
work for clients for the past few years. I tend to work as a digital
artist producing characters for games, books and advertising and
have also produced company logos, several web sites and have experience
in areas such as photo retouching, audio, animation and other creative
digital tasks.

When sending
me a brief, make sure it's as detailed as possible, and should include
the following information:
- For
Pencil Portrait illustrations:
- Give as much
info as you can on exactly what you want.
- I work from
photo reference. You'll need to supply a good quality scan/ photo
for me to work from.
- Do you want
the person illustrated to be modified and different from the original
photo, e.g. different pose, clothing?
- How big
do you want the picture to be? I usually work from A5- A3 size
for this type of work
- Do you want
the original pencil piece or a high resolution print (cheaper)?
- Is there
a deadline?
Price:
These types of drawings usually take several hours and may cost
around $*** (£***).
- For
Comic book fan art:
- I draw
in a more typical western style. I can do it well, although since
it's not my usual style I will just take on one-off illustrations
rather than a series or multiple comic pages. I can also emulate
other art style, so let me know what you have in mind.
- Give as much
info as you can on exactly what you want. (A character? Who? Characters?
Who? Do you want a background? If so, what? Any ideas on poses
or actions? Any ideas on costume?)
- How big
do you want the picture to be?
- What media
do you want it done in, e.g. just pencil, ink, paint, digital
colour If you want a CG piece done, do you want the original drawing,
or just the scanned, then coloured artwork, sent via e-mail, burned
onto CD, or Printed out
- Is there
a deadline?
Price:
The price of this type of work can vary a lot depending for
example, if the client wants one character or a full scene.
I'll say $*** (£***)+

For a high resolution digital image logo, I will tend to work
at an hourly rate of $** (£**) per hour. I shall deliver
an initial page of ideas, then develop one or two into a more
finalised design. I shall quote an estimated completion time
before starting work.

Web design:
