Nikki : What a ditz!

Nikki is now one of my most well known characters- probably due to her sexy style, artificially big hair and boobs! Maybe I'll make a mini manga featuring Nikki some time? That'd be cool and I've already got a few plot ideas for it.
Although a little dated now, the drawing turned out how I wanted at the time and was pleased with the pencil and colouring work, despite taking forever to finish. I hope to develop and improve on this character in the future.

Nikki Notes: I never really considered an audience for my work, I just draw what I like at the time. But looking through my portfolio, I'd say most of it is probably geared towards teenage males. Trouble is, it leads to criticism from younger (and some older) girls about my work being too suggestive, erotic or artificial. I guess Nikki must fall into that category? I doubt my preferences on subject matter will change overnight so I apologize if Nikki (or her big boobs) offends anyone. But at the end of the day, that's the way I'm liking it so if people would be so kind as to give a break I'd appreciate it!

I think it's an alright pic. You should make her hair a little more realistic. You can change the expression on her face it be cool. I'll give it a 5 out of 10

Well even though I'm a girl it's safe to say that I see the 'big boobed' girls a lot in manga, it's not like its offending since almost all artists (including some women manga artists) draw like that. Love your book, awesome drawing!

Its good ,but it looks like her breasts are sort of flooting in her shirt. The breast size is perfect and a very sexy picture. I love the how the bedsheets were made.

teheeee its ok, i am a girl.. but I think it manga and thats really just how you roll, i hope people accept that! Nice pic! I just confuzzled about her nose.. first tie ive seen a manga style nose drawn like that... I may have to let it grow on me (not literally! )

if you enjoy what you do, hell, do it. I honestly believe that if you want to draw and post your artwork, it shouldn't matter to other people. Now, if you we're holding them hostage, and the only way they we're making it out alive is if they fantasize about your manga, well thats different. I don't think thats the situation here, so just draw!
