I think that it's some sort of camera lens-ish view of a tiny park that's been severely twisted, spiraled, and tinted. Ah, the miracles achieved in Photoshop... Well, the specs of light in the piece's center DO create the impression of a bulge.

I know what it is! It is the end of a glass bottle, perhaps coke or beer, but it is the fat end or bottom of a bottle of glass! I love it!
