After showing my portfolio to a dozen or so tattoo artists, they recommended I draw more tattoo-like art where I consider the arrangement of compositional elements and how they might look on certain body parts. So I began working on a 'tattoo art specific' portfolio and this was to be my first submission. I fancied a break from manga influences so the style is more realistic/ comic book-like pin-up. Really happy with how this turned out- I feel like it may mark 'the second coming of Ben Krefta'! Although I still like manga and video games so will carry on drawing those types of characters in addition. PS. Sorry if the partial nudity offends anyone.
