This project that took an insane number of hours to complete. Over the course of a year or so I'd chip away at it adding, perhaps 15 minutes of doodleness at a time time. The artwork was drawn on A2 Ivory board, then tweaked in Photoshop- adding extra tiny details (they are too small to be seen at this size) and printed out on A1 sized canvas. I wanted to create something so detailed that people would be 'wowed' by it! I did have plans to expand it even further, but on second thought, this is quite enough for now I've always loved crazy amounts of detail and artworks like this since I was little and these kind of illustrative/fine art/abstract works are as much a part of my complete portfolio as the character art.
I feel they need something like this in all dentists, piercing and tattoo shops so people can focus on different parts of the image rather than the discomfort of their procedure!
