Heh here I am posting again, I bet your all getting sick of the site of me posting lately .
Now to the point. As the name suggests I'm posting about the anime Naruto, I was just wondering if any one else here watches it?

I'll consider buying the DVD boxed set when all edisodes are out, until then, I may resort the reading the manga as I have it in CD form. Would prefer something on paper, but from what I've heard, it's a pretty big, long running series

The anime hasn't been licensed yet and is up to episode 92!.
Havent read any of the manga but I know its much further on than the anime and alot more brutal.
I download fan subs using bit torrent. If any one is interested I can give them some links.

Hey I watched it as well at uni, on my friend's laptop hehe. Fave character is Perverted Hermit. He's soooo cool! And funny!

yeah I'm watching it.
And it Rocks - tho the mass amount on flashbacks get on my nerve (but I bet its a great money saver).

I read the manga I especially like vol.3 It's sweet.

Naruto rocks! I saw up to episode 96... great stuff.... My favorite episode is when Zabuzo takes out all those guys when he cant use his arms.

I'm not trying to sound like a wimp but the episodes after that had me in tears.
My favourite characters would have to be Rock Lee and Gai Sensei, I laughed so hard after his fight with Sasuke.

and its better than the show

yeah, I know what you mean.. that was probly the most depressing thing to see in the series.

you guys are lucky u can watch the shows i dont get it here where i live but i do buy a manga every now and then and i have up to number nine in naruto it ends with the sesert kid with the jugs on his back going down in the arena to fight rock lee in the second or third test in getting their ninja licence thing its after sasuke gets the mark on his neck and master kakashi puts a seal around it. What also sucks is that all the mangas i have exept for 2 shonen jumps and book one of jing king of bandits are in french.

Am kinda having some troubles as well, I was thinking about buy a dvd set off ebay a couple weeks ago, but then when I went to search for it,all they had were english tranzlation dvd set, y must I be cursed with reading all the time, Anime watching is my only time I don't read, am spos to be able to sit and just watch and have my full attention on the show, not gussesing who saying wat. this is quite a conundrum.

oehm dont buy that dvd,
as far as I know Naruto isnt licensed in the western world (atleast it isnt in the US).
so the DVD is propably just a collection of fansubs, and you can get them free on the web.

But keep in mind that the whole fansub thing isnt really legal aswell (tho it is tolerated by the japanese producers).

Do u know if there is any talk of publising english copies ? I really hate subs, not that reading is hard, just I watch because my eyes hurt from reading so much at school.

I always though it was legal unless it was licensed. I know alot of groups wont fan-sub an anime if it does become licensed.
As far as subs go I like them myself. You can get some realy horrible dubbing on anime to the point where characters are portrayed differently to what the creators intended.

lol I downloaded hero, the jet li film, in chinese 2 years ago off the internet, and was pretty confused till I watched it subtitled in the cinema the other week. It was fairly difficult to guess how the same people died over and over in different ways.

my friend is obsessed with this show. we now have laptops at school and whenever she has a chance she is watching Naturo. she also is obsessed with Gara.

well I guess I'm not one to talk, cos when I have a chance I'm watching Gungrave on my laptop and I'm obsessed with Brandon.
