Basically what I am trying to do is make a very simple website. Using thumbnails like Ben does on his site (I think thats looks cool :cool , but just using normal tables. More a gallery designed for conveinience, but without any webgraphics, ex...

Since It's just going to be abunch of simple tables, I just want to make this offline, then upload it. easy right?
Well I don't know how using freewebspace.com, it's way too complicated, and when I upload a file, it uploades it into the ftp server rather than the actual webserver or somthing arrrg!!!

Which webhost lets up upload a site you made off your hard drive (or individual pages) with none of this shit in between? Right now im thinking about just getting a Geocities site. Would love to here suggestions from those of you that have free webhosts out there, so thanks and here from ya soon

As I said in Del's post:
I'm told Unix Daemons is really good: 50megs of space, no banners, POP3 email/webmail and it's *FREE* http://www.unixdaemons.com/

Although I've personally never tried to set up an account or know if there's an instant browser upload feature! You'll have to try it and see *checks* It seems they're not gonna process any new requests at this time! Poo!
Failling that, try http://www.liquid2k.net/ - once again, never used it, but know a lot of people that do, so it must be good!

Tisk tisk. Someone has been digging up old dead threads These links were posted three and a half years ago! In that time, I'd imagine a lot of links have died out.

However. You might wanna try these:

so many different spaces. *confusion* besides u can create ur own site without any of these kinda restrictions by just learing the codes ((i know very little, but i did manage to build 1 that had a link to google and thats it )) but if u want to bother with a site i suppose i'd go for angelfire.com, altho they seem crap it's quite good
