Thanks for the comments guys ^_^

While and just after creating these two pages I posted them on a few forums to find out what people thought and generally I got positive replies, which means I must be doing something right!

  • Sun- This stuff is pretty impressive man. I really like the fine ink job and the speedlines are well placed. You've got my interest with those two pages.
  • Veridianedge- I didn't know Alexander from the FF series could count as a Pokemon... guess that puts my happy little Girafarig to shame... *starts silently weeping* Anyway, that's really nice! I can't find anything wrong... all you need is to do some halftone shading and blammo, your very own Pokebot comic!
  • Cleoshelti- YOU ARE TOO GOOD ^_^ The only thing I have to say is that the scratches and stuff you added to the pics - are kinda distracting. . .they make teh subject blend into the cation lines too much. . .My suggestion would be to use screen tones ( you know- manga dots and lines and greys) to shade and not as many scratch marks. . . Looks good in color ^_^ ( YOu really are too good - my cg coloring stinks >_< )
  • BIGTYME- Looks hella tight Bomu
  • Tiam Ug- Wow! you're really good. I can't critque cause I can't see anything wrong!!
  • Rob Runic- Oo, Oo, i like them too.
  • Maharishi San- Sweet exect a big problem is that on the first page the guys arm(the one holding the poken in the big pic)is way way to bone likely thin. Anyway nice job. Just My 2 Cents
  • mos667- ok just my 2 cents...(if you cant change this..thats ok..on the first page it shows the guy stretching his arms out...if you bend it or make it smaller it would have a neat affect...
  • Ne0 CrEeP- hey the work looks good, its just for the story, i think you might be combining a little too much, ideas from other animes, unless thats what you're goin for, its still good though so don't let what i say stop you
  • boznich- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA Now there's a good mixture
  • Manta0918- They are cool, but at the same time, disturbing. You mix so many things into one. You might get people to like it for the visuals(which are good might I add) but i believe not a one person will like it for originality or story. It seems wacked out. I might change that. With those skills, you should truly put more effort into a good story unless your story is about a bunch of anime stories all jumbled into one existance(which would extremely suck, mind you that). I believe the colors are good although the faces need to be worked on, my only problam is the conglomorit of of different ideas that clash badly. Man, you've got things like DBZ, Poke..., Grandia, Final Fantasy,...etc. Now for me to let go of my convictions and laugh like hell. ^_^ That is the funniest lode of crap ever.
  • Triforce2K- WOAH! It's DBZ mixed with Gundam Wing mixed with Pokemon!
  • Z Gravity- Wow, I saw 'em in the W.I.P. but this is awesome! I don't know what's wrong with a bit of weirdity like mixing DBZ and Pokemon with... whatever. It's refreshingly un-pretentious. Ok maybe that doesn't mean what I think it means but it's nice to see that not everyone has to take themselves seriously ALL the time.
  • icysphinx- 0_o Wow, that's an extremely cool manga! The colours are very well chosen. They catch the viewer's attention very quickly. I agree with the comment about combining all these Animé together. ^^ Although it's probably a stylist thing but I find the eyes of the people in the first page manga kinda too close together. ^____^ I'll vote for you!
  • bubblebobby2000- very interesting piece of work. heh! it's poke-mech! erm... nice job with the CG and excellent colours. keep it up!
  • Brandon- That's hilarious!! I was laughing my head off even before the first page was half way loaded!! Great job!! I have got to get me one of these!
  • Zefhar- HEY THOSE PAGES ARE THE WAVE!!! You guy have to finish the manga and post it!! hahah, I can't wait for seeing what the hell is going on with all that cool, weird, funny mixture. The cel-like colors are incredible fresh. The lineart is very clean and stylish... and the poke-mech! I love it! Keep da work. Well, congrads and see you.
  • The White Lightning- Very nice ! But you should put a thickness effect on that poke-ball,it looks paper made.Im not a big fan of pokemon but mixed with some other animes and your cg skills .. it gives it a nice looking ^_^ pages
  • Kanaeda_Kuonji- If pokemon were like this, I'd actually watch it!! Very funny!!
  • Princess Ai- Whoa... KICKASS!
  • Dark_Dilandau_Eno- Whoa what you've done so far Kicks @$$ ! I like them B/W too...
  • Duo_no_Miko- YAWP!! Duo> ::whispers:: That means she likes it....
  • prince_adrian- wow dude your pages look awesome...you've done an excellent job!!!
  • fishbait- Overall, it's pretty darn good. The ink work is very nice and clean. The poses, however, come off a bit stiff. And You really should have some indication of a Background in there. Speed lines alone don't establish an environment.
  • FilthyMonkey- WoW the pages look cool don't colour them i think the style suits black and white.
  • darthseth- the mech is nice, but you can put a background and speedlines both on each panel. Its uncomfortable at first, cause I used to have the same problem, but it makes each page look deeper. Americans for some reason take speed lines as a cop-out for backgrounds, which is the case in some people, but not in all. most of my fight scenes have alot of speed lines, but it is because i want the reader to really see the fight, the direction the punches are flying, but most of my speed lines are from sword swipes, since my book has a LOT of swordplay
